2. Applicability

These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements made through our webshop.

Before placing an order, you have the opportunity to view these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

3. Products and product information

We aim to display and describe our products as accurately as possible.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device. Minor differences in colour or appearance do not necessarily mean that a product is defective.

Sizing may vary between brands and styles. Where possible, we provide additional sizing and fit information on the relevant product page.

4. Prices

All prices shown to consumers within the European Union include VAT unless stated otherwise.

Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown during checkout before you complete your order.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, local import duties, customs charges or taxes may apply. These charges are determined by the destination country and are generally payable by the recipient.

5. Orders

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

An agreement is concluded once we have accepted your order.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if, for example:

• an item is unexpectedly unavailable;

• there is an obvious pricing or technical error;

• payment cannot be completed or verified;

• we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the amount paid will be refunded.

An obvious error, such as a clearly incorrect price that a customer could reasonably recognise as an error, does not oblige us to supply the item at that incorrect price.

6. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods offered in our webshop.

7. Delivery

Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided during checkout.

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated in our Shipping Policy.

Any delivery dates or delivery times shown are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

The risk of loss or damage to the goods remains with studio .ruig until the order has been delivered to you or to a person designated by you to receive it.

If a shipment appears to be delayed, lost or damaged in transit, please contact us so that we can investigate this with the carrier.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you purchase a product through our webshop as a consumer, you generally have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving the product, without giving a reason.

You may exercise your right of withdrawal using the online withdrawal function on our website, by email at info@studioruig.com, or by another clear statement informing us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you have 14 days to return the product.

9. Handling products during the withdrawal period

During the withdrawal period, you may inspect and try an item in the same way as you reasonably would in a physical store.

You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling the product beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

If an item has decreased in value as a result, we may deduct the actual diminished value from the refund.

This may include, for example:

• visible signs of wear;

• stains or damage;

• strong perfume, smoke or other odours;

• missing tags, accessories or parts;

• damage to original product packaging that could reasonably have been avoided;

• tape, shipping labels, writing or stickers applied directly to a shoebox or other product packaging.

Any deduction will relate to the actual reduction in value and is not intended as a fixed penalty.

10. Shoes and product packaging

Please try shoes on indoors and on a clean surface.

Where original packaging forms part of the product presentation, such as a shoebox, please take reasonable care of this packaging.

Original shoeboxes must not be used as shipping boxes. Do not attach shipping labels, tape or other stickers directly to the shoebox.

Please place the original shoebox inside suitable protective outer packaging when returning it.

11. Refunds

Refunds following withdrawal are handled in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy and applicable consumer law.

If you withdraw from your entire order, we will also refund the standard outbound delivery costs paid for the original order.

Additional costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery option are not refunded.

12. Faulty or non-conforming products

You are entitled to receive a product that conforms to the agreement and meets the reasonable expectations you may have of it.

Your purchase is covered by the statutory legal guarantee.

If a product is faulty, damaged upon arrival or does not meet what you may reasonably expect from it, please contact us at info@studioruig.com.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming products.

13. Complaints

If you have a complaint about a product, an order or our service, please contact us at:

Please provide your order number and, where relevant, photos or other information that can help us assess the issue.

We will handle complaints within a reasonable period and aim to find an appropriate solution.

14. Gift cards and promotional discounts

Gift cards and promotional discounts are subject to any specific conditions communicated at the time of issue.

Discount codes generally cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined with other promotions unless expressly stated otherwise.

Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

15. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including studio .ruig trademarks, photographs, designs, text, graphics and other original materials, may be protected by intellectual property rights.

You may not commercially reproduce, distribute or use protected content without permission from the relevant rights holder.

16. Website availability

We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or free from technical errors.

Temporary website unavailability does not affect any statutory rights you have regarding orders already placed.

17. Liability

studio .ruig is liable where liability follows from applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable law.

We are not responsible for damage resulting from circumstances that cannot reasonably be attributed to studio .ruig.

18. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to these Terms & Conditions

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to your purchase is the version that was available when you placed your order.

Changes made after your purchase do not retroactively change the terms of an existing order.

20. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions and agreements with studio .ruig are governed by Dutch law.

If you are a consumer living in another EU country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protection provided by the law of your country of residence where applicable.

Any disputes will be handled by the competent court in accordance with applicable law.
