The top pattern is a modern redesign of the original Silver Shadow (1981). In 1981, the Silver Shadow was carried by the recruits of the German and British armies (MOD). The functional Rollin Gait System (RGS) from HI-TEC® was developed in 2011 by Vibram in collaboration with the HI-TEC® product team.
