Coat Mayhill wool carbon is a trench coat in stretch wool fabric.

With its familiar trench coat details, such as the wide tie belt and a yoke at the shoulder, back and front, the wool coat presents itself as an innovative reinterpretation of a popular classic. The woolen whale used has a naturally water-repellent function.

The outer fabric is made from eco-wool, mulesing free and without the use of chemical pesticides.

LangerChen's sustainable jackets and coats are manufactured in their own GOTS-certified manufacturing facility in Jiaxing, China.

Professional wet cleaning, dry cleaning or hand washing in lukewarm water possible. Close the buttons of the coat. Use special detergent for woollen fabrics. Carefully "squeeze" the coat after washing and hang it on a hanger to dry.

LangerChen shows that fashion 'made in China' need not have anything to do with mass production or poor working conditions. On the contrary: With the aim of establishing environmentally friendly and fair textile production in China, Miranda Chen and Philipp Langer founded the textile manufacturer Jiecco back in 2009. Five years later, their passion for fashion and expertise in fabric development laid the foundation for the fashion label LangerChen.

Today, all LangerChen collections are manufactured in the company's own production facility about an hour from Shanghai - from the fabric to the finished jacket. The GOTS-certified company has specialized in the production of sustainable fashion since its foundation and is a pioneer in China with its standards of fair production and good working conditions.

Almost 100 employees work here on the sustainable collections. A fair wage, good working conditions and a pleasant working atmosphere are top priorities for everyone. Jiecco now also produces for other large eco-players.

Their German office is near Munich, while our Chinese team is working on our collections near Shanghai.

Our production site in Jiecco pays attention to good working conditions, trains all employees in ecology and organizes the daily travel for the employees. We are a very family-run company with many long-standing employees."
